best brooklyn vacation rental homes with babies, toddlers and kids

with No Comments

Looking for family hotel rooms in Manhattan makes me feel poor and sad. There is frequently a large mismatch between where I think I belong (Soho House) and where I can afford to stay. Lately I have redirected my sights towards the stroller friendly and inherently cool borough of Brooklyn instead. Brooklyn has an abundance of baby and kid friendly vacation home rentals and is a mere 15-30 minute subway ride from the city. Those of you with active little ones (especially boys) will know that sometime the  journey can be as much fun to a child as that actual destination, making the subway ride an important event during the day. So without further ado, here are my picks for vacation home rentals in Brooklyn suitable for families traveling with babies, toddlers and kids.

my criteria for a great family vacation rental in Brooklyn is:

wifi, air conditioning, non-smoking home, suitable beds for children or cot/crib for a baby, room for 4-6 people, great style,  5 star reviews by families, and significantly less expensive than your average Manhattan  family hotel room

editor’s note: Please always read current reviews and fine print on the rental before booking.
