If picking your own pumpkins is part of your family plan for this October, here is a rundown of some favorite pumpkin farms around Vancouver and the Lower Mainland (including Richmond pumpkin patches, and pumpkin patches in Surrey, Langley, Delta, Maple Ridge and Abbotsford). What: Check in at the office to pick up your self-guided tour (by donation). Pumpkins are $5 each.

Richmond Country Farms Pumpkin Patch Richmond, BC
What: Enjoy live entertainment, a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch, animal farm, a Spartan apple, a kid-sized pumpkin and carry bag for $10 (weekdays) and $13 (weekends and holidays). Extra pumpkins are $4 each.

Best Pumpkin Patch Delta Options 2018
Westham Island Herb Farm Pumpkin Patch – Westham Island – Delta
What: Check out their annual display of scarecrows and hand carved pumpkins. These will be lit every night for the last ten days of October. There is also a haunted hot house that is ideal for little ones. U-pick your pumpkin or buy from the stand (price depending on size).

Emma Lea Farms Pumpkin Patch – Westham Island – Delta
What: Grab a pair of clippers, a wagon, and head out into the field to find just the right pumpkin. While your kids play in the sandbox and play area, pick out some fresh veggies and delicious honey at their farm market. For those with a sweet tooth, be sure to indulge in one of their yummy sundaes at the ice cream bar.

Hazelmere Pumpkin Patch – Pumpking Picking Surrey
What: Enjoy the petting zoo, fire truck, harvest displays, corn maze and wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch. Admission $5 (cash only). Price of pumpkin based on size.
