When I think of heading to the mountains in Colorado, I think of Vail. A recent travel bloggers convention, however, brought me to the nearby resort of Keystone instead. Forty eight hours later I had fallen in love and couldn’t wait to return with my family. Despite being thought of as a winter sports destination, Keystone Resort has plenty of family activities running all summer long. How about river rafting, horseback riding, paddle boating, snow tubing, fly fishing, wagon rides, hiking, chair lift trips to the top of the mountain, gold panning, and fun stuff in the village like bouncy castles and trampolines? Not to be forgotten, there’s golf, mountain bike riding, wine tastings and a lovely spa for mom and dad. Your stay will be over before you run out of things to do at this adventure playground.
