Did you know that the beloved boutique hotel brand Kimpton has just opened their first hotel in Paris – The Kimpton Saint Honoré?
Personally, I am a longtime, enthusiastic Kimpton fan going way back to romantic getaways in Seattle with my husband pre-kids. We live in Vancouver, Canada, so their beautiful Seattle properties have always offered such a perfect little weekend escape for us.

Over the years, my love affair with this boutique hotel brand has only grown – through many family trips, and even a few treasured girlfriend getaways. Truth be known, I started this website to showcase special hotels like the Kimptons – stylish places that welcomed us with open arms with our kids in tow and occasionally our fur-baby Lucy too.
What a lucky break we had recently when we discovered that our first international trip abroad to France (post-international travel shut down of 2020) would coincide with the opening of Kimpton’s first property in Paris – The Kimpton Saint Honore. I immediately reached out to see if we could work together as I was so excited to have the opportunity to be one of the first to feature this very special new property.

About The Kimpton Hotel Paris
Once home to the esteemed Paris department store La Samaritaine de Luxe, this beautiful historic building has been completely reimagined by Kimpton in a vibrant Art Deco style, with all the modern amenities needed for today’s traveler.
The Kimpton St. Honoré provides everything visitors need for a luxurious Paris sojourn including a stunning lobby bar and restaurant, a full gym, an indoor pool, and of course a lovely spa.

In addition to tradition king, queen and double twin room configurations, the Kimpton St. Honore Paris also has some very splurge-worthy suites with balconies overlooking the city.
The Kimpton Paris Rooftop Garden Terrace
Are you ready for the best part? The Kimpton Saint Honore has simply the most beautiful rooftop garden terrace. In fact, my husband and I simply couldn’t imagine a better way to start our Paris evenings – sipping on chilled rosé while enjoying 360 degree views of Paris.
Note: As guests, you gain priority access to the roof which is important as there is quite a buzz around it (check out the photos and you will see why).
The Location
This lovely hotel property in conveniently located in the 2nd arr. – within walking distance of the Opera, The Louvre and The Tuileries Gardens.
